IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak conduct their national-level aptitude test annually, serving as a pathway to their 5-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). This test, referred to as the IPMAT, marks the initial stage of the admission process. After successfully clearing the IPMAT cutoff, candidates advance to the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Additionally, IIM Rohtak conducts a PI to evaluate students’ communication skills, educational background, and general awareness. The objective of this article is to shed light on the updated IPMAT exam patterns of both IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak, aiming to enhance your preparation level.
Besides IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak, four other IIMs have incorporated IPM into their academic curriculum. Starting from the academic year 2021, IIM Ranchi, IIM Bodh Gaya, and IIM Jammu have also adopted the IPM program. IIM Nagpur represents the latest inclusion in the list of IIMs offering a 5-year Integrated Program in Management. While IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya consider JIPMAT scores, IIM Ranchi accepts SAT and IPMAT scores for admissions.
No matter what kind of MBA school you are in or how long it is, these courses are not only a great way to learn but also meet industry standards. Most MBA programs in India are designed to help students become experts in their chosen field of study while also giving them a broad understanding of other related topics. This well-rounded approach makes sure that graduates are ready to do well in their area of specialization and have a better idea of how business works as a whole. It may seem hard to find your way through the many MBA choices, but if you know what you want to do with your career and study the courses that match your interests and the needs of your industry, you can make an informed decision that puts you on the path to success in your career.
Based on how careers are expected to grow, the list of MBA classes in India looks like this:
The effect of specializations on job opportunities for MBAs
When you look at the placement records of well-known schools like IIMs, XLRI, SPJIMR, MDI, FMS Delhi, and IIFT, it’s clear that some MBA programs get better placement packages than others. The reason for this is that during college placements, there is more demand for MBA graduates with certain specializations. MBA students who choose to specialize in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, International Business, or Business Analytics tend to get better pay rates. This preference is because these graduates have specialized skills and knowledge that make them very useful to the business world.
In the business world, people with an MBA who have taken a specific course are often sought after, especially when it comes to making important decisions in their fields. On the other hand, someone with a General MBA might not be as good at making decisions because they don’t have as much specialized information. So, people who want to get ahead in their careers and have more job possibilities should think about getting an MBA with a specific focus.
As you look into the different MBA programs in India, it’s important to compare what the prestigious IIMs and other business schools have to offer before making a choice. This comparison will help you figure out which programs are best for your job goals and make sure you get the best education and chances.
